Current beta status
E.O.N-X is not currently representing preview marketplace cards or categories as live casting notices, jobs, paid engagements, or guaranteed opportunities. Direct marketplace applications should remain disabled until the publishing, moderation, reporting, verification, legal, and safety workflows are ready.
No guarantee
E.O.N-X does not guarantee that any opportunity will lead to an audition, callback, meeting, booking, employment, representation, payment, credit, exposure, or other professional result.
Responsibility of opportunity publishers
Future publishers should be required to have authority to post the opportunity and to provide accurate material information, including identity, project details, role requirements, location, compensation, union information, deadlines, eligibility, and any material conditions.
- No fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or impersonated opportunities.
- No pay-to-play schemes disguised as employment or casting unless fees are lawful, clearly disclosed, and permitted by E.O.N-X policy.
- No discriminatory requirements that violate applicable law.
- No sexual exploitation, trafficking, coercion, unsafe working conditions, or requests for unlawful conduct.
- No collection of sensitive information that is unnecessary for the stated opportunity.
- No unauthorized use of third-party project names, brands, casting identities, or intellectual property.
Applicant responsibility
Applicants should independently evaluate opportunities, protect sensitive information, verify identities when appropriate, and use judgment before travel, payment, in-person meetings, or accepting work. E.O.N-X cannot eliminate every risk created by independent third parties.
Platform role
Unless expressly stated otherwise, E.O.N-X provides software and marketplace infrastructure and is not the employer, producer, casting director, union, talent representative, payroll company, or contracting party for third-party opportunities.
Moderation and verification
E.O.N-X may review, label, reject, suspend, remove, or investigate opportunities, publishers, or accounts. A verification indicator should not be represented as a guarantee of safety, solvency, legal compliance, employment, or outcome.
Reporting
Before applications go live, E.O.N-X should provide a clear report flow for scams, impersonation, unsafe requests, harassment, discrimination, nonpayment, suspicious fees, illegal content, and other marketplace concerns.
