Copyright & IP Policy

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully own. Uploading material to E.O.N-X does not transfer ownership of a headshot, reel, résumé, photograph, video, script excerpt, credit, or other user material to E.O.N-X.

The E.O.N-X Terms grant a limited license necessary to host, process, display, transmit, back up, format, and otherwise operate user-directed functionality. That operational license does not authorize E.O.N-X to claim authorship of user materials.

E.O.N-X retains rights in its software, code, databases, original platform designs, product interfaces, documentation, brand assets, logos, trademarks, trade dress, proprietary workflows, and other original platform material.

A rights holder who believes material on E.O.N-X infringes copyright should provide a written notice identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy/authority statement, and a physical or electronic signature.

Before public launch, E.O.N-X should designate and publish the appropriate copyright/DMCA contact and, if relying on U.S. DMCA safe-harbor procedures, complete any required Copyright Office agent designation and operational notice-and-takedown process.

• E.O.N-X may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material while a claim is reviewed.
• Where legally applicable, a user may have a right to submit a valid counter-notice.
• E.O.N-X may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
• Knowingly submitting false infringement claims may create legal liability.

Trademark or impersonation concerns should identify the mark, registration information if available, the challenged use, the reporting party’s authority, and supporting evidence.
